About Me

Hi! My name is Muchen Qi, and I'm currently a Master's student in Computer Science at Northeastern University. Coming from a humanities background, I am especially passionate about exploring the intersection of technology and society, how the two may work together to secure a better future for mankind.

Education

Computer Science

Northeastern University

As an Align student with no prior coding experience, I am still at the beginning of my journey into computer science. Current interests include NLP and human computer interaction.

Linguistics

Boston College

As a former Linguistics major, my focus were in formal semantics, sociolinguistics and psycholinguistics. I am excited about the potential of formal semantics on producing a more robust NLP approach.

Philosophy

Boston College

I predominantly studied continental philosophy with a focus on phenomenology and existentialism for my Master's thesis. Feel free to reach out if you want to discuss Kierkegaard or Derrida!

Interests
